For a tour of our school, please contact School Principal, Mrs Anne Magee on 028 9086 3541 (VOICE/T.D.D.)

We have been offering a specialist education to children who are deaf or have visual impairments for over 150 years. Our new building is an exciting development in the story of our school. Although it has been financed and is owned by our board of trustees, it is maintained by the North Eastern Education and Library Board, so every child has access to the statutory curriculum from foundation level upwards.

All staff in the school are trained and experienced in working with pupils who have a sensory impairment. In addition, all permanent teachers hold a specialist qualification in teaching children with either auditory or visual impairments. Staff working with the pupils who have an auditory impairment hold sign language qualifications.
